The Precision Oncology Hub (POH) is a translational research laboratory at the TBCC established to accelerate the translation of cancer research discovery into improved cancer patients’ care.
The Hub provides molecular profiling of the patient’s tumour and its microenvironment, including genomic sequencing and proteomic studies, for disease prognostication and predictive biomarkers validation to enable “real-time” personalized cancer care delivery.
Mission: To incorporate molecular and immune profiling into routine day to day cancer management, delivering personalized targeted therapies.
Goal: To create a translational research environment that will personalize cancer care, foster research collaboration and cancer discovery.
Services Available at the POH:
- Genomic and epi-genomic profiling (bulk and single cell sequencing): WES, SNVs, CNAs, MRD, transcriptome, etc.
- Proteomics: IHCs quantitative imaging (Ki67 automated scoring system for breast cancer) and multiplexing approaches.
