Dr. Shaun Loewen is a Radiation Oncologist at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary, Alberta and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Calgary, Department of Oncology, Cumming School of Medicine. He completed a PhD in Physiology, medical school, and Radiation Oncology residency training at the University of Alberta. Dr. Loewen’s clinical areas of expertise include neuro-oncology and gastrointestinal cancers. He is the Director of the University of Calgary Radiation Oncology Residency Training Program and Chair of the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology Human Resources Committee. His research interests include health human resource planning, resident wellness, medical education, and academic coaching and mentorship.
