Biography

Dr Feng is a Medical Oncologist at Authur Child Comprehensive Cancer Center, Calgary, Alberta. Additionally, she is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Cummings School of Medicine, University of Calgary. She completed her medical training and MSc at Tongji Medical University and her PhD and Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Calgary in Cancer Biology. Her clinical practice is focused on breast cancer and sarcoma. Her research interests include prognostic and predictive biomarkers in breast cancer and sarcoma, novel therapeutic intervention through genomic and transcriptome sequencing, clinical and translational research in sarcoma, and clinical trials in breast and sarcoma. She is a lead Principal investigator for Canadian Sarcoma Clinical and Research Collaboration (CANSARCC) previously at BC Cancer, now at Alberta Health Services and conducting several national collaborative research projects through CANSARCC. Her current main research focus is to develop clinical relevant prognostic biomarker in GIST and predictive biomarker (ie: immune signature) leveraging genomic and transcriptomic profiling in leiomyosarcoma.
