Biography

Dr. Caitlin Yeo is an Endocrine Surgical Oncologist and Clinical Assistant Professor within the Departments of Surgery and Oncology at the University of Calgary. Dr. Yeo completed medical school and general surgery residency at Queen’s University, Kingston, before joining the University of Calgary for dual fellowships in Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery. She also holds a Masters in Medical Education through the University of Dundee, UK. Her clinical practice includes thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and GEP neuroendocrine pathologies. Her research interests span the domains of endocrine surgery, surgical oncology, and surgical education. She is the program director for the Endocrine Surgery Fellowship, and the General Surgery and Surgical Oncology Competency Committee Chair. She is also the co-chair of the Alberta Thyroid Oncology Group, Cancer Surgery Alberta Endocrine Tumor Group Lead, and FMC General Surgery QA Rounds Director.
