Biography

Pamela is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a cross-appointment in the Department of Oncology. She is a member of the section of Gynecologic Oncology, Alberta Health Services, and Calgary Zone.

Her research interests include collaborating in multi-center clinical trials for ovarian cancer, cancer survivorship and improving models of care for gynecological oncology patients. Pamela was appointed as Associate Dean Professionalism Equity Diversity at Cumming School of Medicine in 2019 and sits as Education Chair for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Previously, she was Program Director of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology residency training program, and Assistant Dean, Postgraduate Medical Education, and served as Chair of Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Canada. She completed her medical school, residency and fellowship training at the University of Manitoba followed by an additional year of minimally invasive surgical training in France.
