Biography

Dr. William de Haas completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario, and his medical degree at the University of Calgary. His residency training was acquired through the Plastic Surgery Residency Training Program in Calgary.

Past experience includes, Assistant Professor in the department of Surgery at the University of Calgary, Director of the Plastic Surgery Residency Training Program, and President of the Alberta Society of Plastic Surgeons.

He completed his reconstructive microsurgery fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Currently he is the Site Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Foothills Medical Centre and a member of active staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre and Alberta Children’s Hospital.
