Dr. Fidler-Benaoudia is a clinical and descriptive cancer epidemiologist within the Department of Cancer Epidemiology and Prevention Research at Cancer Care Alberta, and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Departments of Oncology and Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary. Her research focuses primarily on describing the burden of childhood, adolescent and young adult cancers and evaluating how to improve care, experiences and outcomes in these populations across the cancer continuum. In particular, she is the Principal Investigator of the Alberta Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Survivor Study, Adolescents and Young Adults becoming Physically Active after Cancer Trial and Attitudes, Behaviours and Cancer Study, with additional projects exploring oncofertility, healthcare utilization, and palliative care use.
