Dr. Andrea Fung is a medical oncologist at the Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre, and Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Oncology at the University of Calgary. She completed a PhD in the Department of Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto, received her MD and residency training at the University of Calgary, and completed a thoracic oncology fellowship at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto. She is actively involved in clinical trials and her research interests include characterizing biomarkers of treatment response, evaluating real-world patient outcomes, and translational research in thoracic and head and neck oncology. She is also a Co-Lead of the Canadian Association of Medical Oncologists (CAMO) National Mentorship Program for Canadian medical oncology residents and fellows.
