Dr. Morrison completed her BSc in Astrophysics at the University of Calgary in 2012 followed by a PhD from the University of Alberta in Medical Physics in 2017. She then returned to Calgary to complete a CAMPEP accredited residency in radiation oncology physics at the Tom Baker Cancer Center, and then transitioned to a clinical medical physicist afterwards.
Currently, Hali is an adjunct assistant professor in both the Department of Oncology and the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Her teaching focuses on dosimetry and treatment planning in radiotherapy at both the graduate and resident level.
Clinically, Hali leads the automation team within medical physics, co-leads the external beam group, and is a member of the stereotactic radiosurgery and treatment planning groups. She is also the lead medical physicist for the ocular brachytherapy program.
