Dr. Wells is a medical oncologist focusing on the treatment of genitourinary and gastrointestinal cancers. He is originally from Calgary but has completed his medical training at Queen’s University and the University of British Columbia. He has a Master of Science from the University of Oxford and spent two years in London, UK working in clinical trials. He has also completed the Clinician Investigator Program through the University of British Columbia.
His research interests are currently focused on understanding and optimizing barriers to clinical trial participation, treatment of cancers in young adults, and new cancer treatments
